Peter has extensive experience in all kinds of litigious matters and alternative dispute resolution areas. In recent years he has practised mainly in the criminal, common law and commercial jurisdictions, conducting matters which have resolved before or during proceedings, complex trials and appeals at the highest level.

Peter has acted as an assistant ICAC commissioner and has appeared as senior counsel assisting both the ICAC and the PIC as well as for many clients before the ICAC. He has special expertise in the area of corporate responsibility, both at the civil penalty and criminal levels. He has often acted for members of the legal and other professions in various disciplinary and related proceedings. For many years he has been at the forefront of major cases that have developed the law in his areas of practice.

Peter is highly regarded for his people skills, especially with clients under stress, his cooperation with instructing solicitors and colleagues and his effectiveness in getting good outcomes for clients.
